Automotive Interior Design Engineer

What to expect:

• Participate in the development an Interior and/or Exterior Equipment project or subsystem development: Dashboard and console, interior trims, exterior trims, lighting, seat module, HVAC and Cockpit control
• Good knowledge of the design rules of plastic injection and its integration into a development (direction of demolding, slider, minimum thickness of ribbing, etc.)
• Ability to design, propose and carry out parameterized studies with CATIA V5 software (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting)
• Writing skills for technical documents (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and presentation skills
• Manage the workload and the quality of deliverables in a standard schedule
• Project reporting to the Lead Manager of the engineering and design department
• Develop and track useful key performance indicators

What you bring along:

• First successful experience in the development of products for automotive equipment or subsystem components : Interior trims (Hard & Soft parts); Dashboard & Console; Exterior trims and Lighting; Seat module (Complete & Frame seat); HVAC and Cockpit control
• In addition to your knowledge of interior and exterior equipment. You have knowledge of the processes: plastic injection, foaming, assembly of parts and geometric behavior (Isotatism)
• Ability to integrate an automotive environment with the constraints related to developments. Management of deliverables, risk management, strength of proposal, support for people under its responsibility
• Develop and track useful key performance ind
• Total autonomy on CATIA V5 software (3D and 2D)
• Good English language skills are required, German would be an advantage
