IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

• Our team in Cluj-Napoca is seeking a talented and motivated IT Operations Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the performance, availability, and reliability of our complex web application for a premium automotive brand.  
• As an IT Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations, identifying and resolving issues promptly, and implementing proactive measures to optimize the application's performance. 

Ideal candidate 

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 
• Proven passion or experience for IT Operations activities or similar. 
• Knowledge of web application architectures, networking, and infrastructure components. 
• Experience with Docker, AWS, ITSM and other DevOps field related technologies. 
• Experience with Python, Linux Shells, Windows Batch and/or PowerShell 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment 
• Excellent communication skills (also in English, German is a plus) 
• Interest in the automotive industry is an advantage.

YOUR TASKS

• Ensuring the reliable and high-performance operation of central, business-critical infrastructures that run both on cloud and on-prem.
• Provision and ongoing support of IT services 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to. troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting the application's performance. 
• Perform regular system and application audits for security and compliance. 
• Contribute to the development and implementation of operational best practices. 
• Introducing new tools and documentation to improve software development and deployment processes. 
• Processing the helpdesk and supporting employees (ITSM with 2nd and 3rd level) 
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical issues.
