General Ledger and Closing & Reporting Senior Analyst
Your Role:
You will be responsible for
the effective performance of the General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Closing &
Reporting processes within the country/ies assigned
Your Challenges:
Operational responsibilities:
Perform journal entry validation by ensuring that all significant
estimates and accruals are properly sustained and posted in the ERP system;
Prepare balance sheet reconciliation for accounts assigned, while
ensuring timely submission for approval and justifying reconciling items;
Secure timely execution of monthly, quarterly, annual activities
contributing to accurate Financial Statements as per IFRS and Local GAAP;
Professional interactions with different streams and functions from the
SSC organization and with local organization partners;
Improvement:
Contributes to the effectiveness of the General Ledger, Fixed Assets and
Closing & Reporting functions through the identification of areas for
continuous improvement, providing input and information to achieve problem
resolution.
Compliance:
Ensures compliance with internal/external audit requirements;
Facilitate adherence to admin policies and procedures,
Your Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Economic Field;
Experience: 1,5 - 3 years of experience in an Accounting department, of
which at least 1,5 years is either in General Ledger accounting or in external
audit;
Experience in SAP ERP system is a plus;
Familiar with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
PC literate (MS-office tools, Lotus Notes).
