Could you be the full-time International Transportation Senior Team Leader in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your transportation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Andrei TIRLA (Global Functions Support Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside data driven, tool-oriented, continuous improvement mindset teammates.

You’ll support sites to get their parts at the right QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) expectation, coordinating and optimizing Overseas Transport Control Tower Europe (OTCT-E) shipments, while ensuring associated process and regulation compliance.

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

Site & Supplier Interface

 

  • Be the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for sites and suppliers, building a strong relationship to ensure operational performance
  • Circulate and promote Alstom processes and Golden rules
  • When relevant, be the relay of sites MPs toward the suppliers
  • Check material supplier’s documentation compliance with local, international, and destination regulations
  • Coordinate OTCT-E logistics platforms inbound operations
  • Collect needs from sites, and plan transportation to meet need date.
  • Provide visibility on international transportation status to all stakeholders

 

Transport Operation Coordination

 

  •  
  • Coordinate 3PL operations (all transport modes) ensuring process compliance
  • Proactively propose alternatives solutions to meet site needs and take immediate countermeasures in case of deviations for the initial plan.
  • Provide transport costs visibility; track, target and eradicate extra costs, and non-quality costs.
  • Check transport documentation compliance with processes and regulations
  • Drive daily 3PL performance

 

 

Customs

  •  
  • When requested, perform customs in line with actual processes and regulations
  • Ensure customs compliance within the scope of responsibility

  • Business Degree or similar complemented by a demonstrated track record;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (French is a plus);
