Could you be the full-time Supply Chain Operations Manager with German/English in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report directly to the GPC Site Director, and work alongside a professional team.

 

You will manage and coordinate multiple operational teams across multiple sites/countries and will ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements. Day-to-day, you will act as Business Partner to Head of Regions and to GPC (Global Procurement Centre) counterparts.

 

You will specifically lead a team of people managers ensuring acquisition, development, and management of talents and will manage the Performance (PMP), providing regular feedback and supporting team members.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Accountable for the smooth delivery of local and global administration and supply chain processes, in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Manage resources allocation based on considerations of business risk, commercial aspects, and urgency;
  • Develop the scope of service delivered and manage the changes required to deliver continuous improvement in quality and scope of services;
  • Identify and manage large scale and/or one of activities alongside business as usual;
  • Responsible for team performance and behavior, ensuring they are both customer focused and process oriented;
  • Attract, motivate, and retain talent, continuously develop skills and competencies;
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to manage expectations and improve cooperation across supply chain organization and the business;
  • Proactive in seeking feedback on the team’s performance, develop and execute action plans to continually improve stakeholder satisfaction levels;
  • Act as a final point of escalation for any issues raised by customers or the team;
  • Drive operational and strategic excellence methods;
  • Deliver operational and process improvements through lean approach and techniques;
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in wider Supply Chain projects or initiatives, taking ownership for project deliverables assigned to the team;
  • Validate transfer plan in alignment with transition team;
  • Ensure completion of all gates according to transfer process for assigned sites/countries;
  • Monitor transfer progress by participating to gate & follow up calls with Sites/PMO;
  • Provide updated planning information & milestones to transition team.

  • Degree level qualification
  • Relevant work experience in supply chain/material planning, leadership skills, strong customer service background, proven large scale people management skills
  • Strong negotiation/influencing skills, advanced communication and presentation skills in English and/or German
  • Experience with SAP MM system
