Could you be the full-time Regional Buyer Transportation & Logistic in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Mirona Reimer (Cluster Team Leader, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside passionate, dedicated and hard-working teammates. 

 

You’ll be responsible of definition and implementation of procurement strategy for Transportation & Logistic for the DACH Region.

 

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business in procurement (strategic buyers / local lead buyers) for contract implementation, risk management, claims and conflict resolution in the region.

 

You'll specifically be involved in negotiation and communication of regional contracts while identifying cost savings / cost reduction initiatives.

 

We’ll look to you for: 

  • Proactively conduct analysis of requirements including commercial, legal and technical requirements
  • Provide information from a regional perspective for the development of procurement strategies and plans
  • Be active on the operational side, where required e.g. following escalation
  • Ensure compliance with IGS (Indirect Goods & Services) policies in all contracts, functions, and processes
  • Manage the regional/local needs of internal customers and identify demand, bottlenecks and delivery times;
  • Manage the regional contracts and supplier relationships and review of performance and integration of suppliers;
  • Ensure delivery quality and service
  • Reduce costs in co-operation with suppliers, within Alstom and in business processes;
  • Communication and introduction of cost savings/cost reduction initiatives in the region and at the sites
  • Provide information per product group and region, analyze the purchasing volume and consolidate the data for the DACH region

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; German would be a plus
