Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provides technical support in full implementation of Digital channel products (Internet & Mobile Banking) to the given standards, with focus on the backend legacy systems (core payment systems, cards etc.)
Offers support in analyzing the current capabilities of legacy systems during migration / roll-out of new assets by direct research of the existing functional features and technology stack, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, user data models & schemas and writing technical (functional and non-functional) specifications with special focus on various system integration and end to end data flows
Delivers elements of systems design, including data migration rules, implementation of business rules, or other detailed deliverables
Improves systems by studying current performance and proposing optimization measures
Actively facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
Works closely with other systems to have the complete overview of the solution and provides support for the other systems
Providing support and training for other teams (QA, DEV) and clients and shares own expertise with others
Provides qualified technical assistance (on demand) to factory management for specific topics via technical reports by collecting, analyzing, monitoring and summarizing legacy information
Acts as single entry / exit point for the development team for all topics related to supported back-ends
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing specific support and training for end users
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies with the purpose of employing the industry best practices for optimal solutions design
Works both on evolution and maintenance environments
Requirements
Mandatory:
Degree in technical studies (computers, banking, finances, economics etc.)
At least 3 years of experience in Technical Analysis / Solution Design area
At least 7 years of overall experience in Software Development field
Strong knowledge of business process modelling, visual representations for end to end data flows and system integration
Proficient experience in RPG/400, RPGIV, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, integration platforms such as MQ / i-Series
In-depth work experience on DB2/400, SQL, data extraction & migration tools
Experienced in working with abroad customers
Team player attitude, innovative approach and excellent networking skills
Good command of English both spoken and written, excellent presentation skills
Ability to travel to Hungary & Czech Republic for short periods (up to 4 weeks) for knowledge ramp-up / training; occasionally, between Iasi and Bucharest for short periods (up to 2 weeks) for operational needs
Ability to switch between projects (several projects can be assigned to the same TA) and multitask
Nice to have:
Experience in both Waterfall & Agile projects
Knowledge of banking business with focus on Digital Channels (Internet & Mobile Banking) domain
Sound experience in scope framing, technical specification, and solution design for projects related to large corporations intranet / public websites is an important plus
