Components Design engineer

Your task:

Responsible for the production-oriented design of components / components / groups

Creation of extensive component drawings as well as the associated assembly drawings

Carrying out construction space analysis relevant for component design

Management and monitoring of data creation, design and design changes as well as scheduling and quality control

Independent elaboration of status presentation as well as documentation of development steps for the customer

Coordination of cooperation between the technical departments in the project and the suppliers

Your qualification:

Certified studies in engineering, or a technical product designer with appropriate professional experience

Several years of professional / design experience in CATIA V5

Good knowledge about electrical components desirable as well as the general vehicle architectures and equipment

Safe handling of MS Office as well as very good German and good English skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, very good assertiveness and a structured way of working

Knowledge of the OEM’s especially Volkswagen Groups Design systems would be an advantage
