Senior Business Systems Analyst - ESG Data

Key Individual Responsibilities

• Leveraging your expert knowledge in ESG data and financial concepts, take a leading role in the analysis and implementation of data requirements in support of the ESG solutions.

• Know how to train and educate on ESG topics towards colleagues and consultants.

• Take part in the team Agile / SCRUM development process, actively participate to SCRUM ceremonies, guide developers in the daily tasks.

• Lead the ESG Data modelling effort being an active participant at the Data Model Council which is responsible for the governance of the WK Data Models.

• Contribute to the functional design of applications and their data model, development estimates and impact analysis.

• Create or enhance functional test data and expected results to test new developments as well as perform regression testing and analysis.

• Participate to product second line support, including analysis of customer cases, provide resolution recommendations and contribute to implementation

• Following up regulator publications to detect changes / updates required for our applications.

• Actively participates in external and internal customer interactions

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor / Master Degree in ESG/Economics/Management/Finance/Computer Science

• Acquired knowledge of ESG data through academia or work experience

• 3+ years working in Business Systems Analysis, Product Management or other equivalent experience with a good understanding of project delivery, ideally through Agile/Scrum development techniques

• Experience of working with financial software, particularly regarding banking and regulatory data warehouses or reporting solutions

• Experience in Data Modelling, SQL, and understanding of how relational databases work

• Logical proficiency

• Fluent in English, written and oral

Desirable skills

• Knowledge of more complex banking products and regulations such as one of the following areas is a strong advantage:

- The IFRS regulatory framework for financial institutions and its supervisory standards

- BCBS, CRR and CRD

- Ledger and sub-ledger systems, accounting, and risk management in a banking context

• Experience with the WKFS OneSumX Product Suite
