Job Description

Together with the product management team and scrum master you will be working with a team of software engineers and functional analysts to create and enhance new features for our finance, risk and regulatory solution. Some of the solutions we are currently working on are: an EU ESG taxonomy and emission tracking solution, a climate risk impact solution, EBA KPI and climate risk regulatory solution.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, produce and test our current & future solutions. For example,
  • Design practical solutions for financial institutions to fulfil their climate reporting needs
  • Design and create workflows and solutions to process and report emissions, taxonomy, and energy performance information
  • Create and follow up on business requirements
  • Design, align and test data models for taxonomy, climate risk or emission data

• Understand the customer’s needs in terms of requirements analysis and acceptance criteria
• Know how to train and educate on ESG topics towards colleagues and consultants
• Assumes delivery accountability Work together with the Product Manager (who defines the go-to-market strategy and the high-level requirements) and the Scrum Master to ensure that the right customer & regulatory priorities are developed.
• Takes ownership of the product delivery. This includes:
  • Support, analysis, and the best possible implementation of New Development activities, defined by the Product Manager
  • Assume ownership on Maintenance, Efficiency and Quality impact and follow up
  • Fine-tunes the product vision - understands the product, the business, our customers and always thinks ahead, out of the box
  • Acts as a Voice of the customer and has a user experience mind set
  • Ensures a successful execution of the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies or events to ensure proper refinement, sizing, estimation, planning and review of product backlog items

Requirements

• Education: Preferred degree in ESG/Economics/Management/Financial Services/Computer Science
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant working experience as a product business analyst
• Experience with information technology and strong affinity and business savvy with back-office solutions of a bank
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills – feeling comfortable with stakeholder & management reporting and presentations
• Assertive and results driven – able to deliver work solutions as agreed
• Thorough understanding of project management, preferably with some exposure to standards like Lean, Agile, Scrum, is an asset. Certification in one or more of these areas is a plus
• Experience in the Financial Services domain is a plus
• Fluent in English (B2+ level or higher)
