Customer Quality Engineer

     As a team member of the Customer Quality Team, you will:

  • Coordinate customer complaints using quality tools (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA);
  • Follow-up of the corrective actions established together with 8D team;
  • Approve and coordinate sorting in customer locations;
  • Monitor and maintain customer portals;
  • Responsible to make the Risk Assessment: impact levels to customer, plant, Business Unit and Corporate;
  • Responsible to initiate the Task Force Meetings based on assessed risk level;
  • Is responsible to know and apply customer specific requirements;
  • Monitor Customer Performance Rating / Score Card: Analyze score card and coordinate improvement plan;
  • Analyze customer warranty trend data;
  • Monitor warranty costs;
  • Check and approve Warranty payment;
  • No Trouble Found (NTF) reduction activities;
  • Support and coordinate cross-plant issues;
  • Maintain lessons learned;



  • Expert knowledge of automotive technology;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), German (advantage);
  • Very good PC knowledge (MS Office);
  • Very good presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of Customer specific and Automotive - analysis tools ( e.g. OBD, FFA );
  • 3-5 years experience in Automotive;
  • min 2 years experience in Quality;
  • Customer experience (advantage);
  • Graduate in automotive engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent education as a technician, ideally with additional business skills;
