New Product Launch Manager

The High Voltage Electronics Team from Vitesco Technologies Brasov is looking for a new colleague!

As part of the team you will be responsible of: 

• Leading and managing a new developed project/component within the operations to support the project time, budget and functionality;
• Develop the manufacturing concept based on product architecture and requirements, matching it to state of the art production processes, technologies and standards;
• Provide input to quote team (investment, layout, cycle time, staffing);
• Define operations time schedule, sample build & launch targets;
• Develop and maintain the launch process in accordance with the valid processes (phases, deliverables, gates, BOM, settings in the system, etc.);
• Responsible for all activities: suppliers during the build up phase, clarification of questions, timeline, technical reviews, pre-release;
• Coordinate the line release of all documentations included (Line Validation, Capability-Study, Handbook, Reverse-PFMEA, Maintenance Instructions);
• Ensure to build PPAP on time under released conditions;
• Initiate P-FMEA as well as the reverse P-FMEA to avoid process failure and assure stable process quality;
• Coordinate and control project activities, track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating
  form the project plan;
• Ensure capital spendings are aligned with approved authorizations and/or budgets
• Ensure other costs (labor, ramp-up) costs are per approved project plan and budget.

What will you need to succeed:

• University degree in engineering / Project Management / similar discipline;
• Minimum 4 years experience in the automotive industry in manufacturing / project management function(s);
• Experienced in leading teams;
• Experienced team player in international project teams;
• English language - proficient level.
