Product Quality Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and results oriented Quality professional with passion for implementing change and driving continous improvement.

The Product Quality Manager  is responsible to plan, implement, drive and monitor the quality measures in internal or customer projects in order to fullfill the quality project objectives and agreed requirements, with respect to the available norms and standards.

Areas of responsibilities/tasks:

• Responsible to ensure the production locations in creating and sustaining customer satisfaction during series and after series product lifetime.​ ​
• Responsible to supporting all the quality related topics starting at launch phase that are related to the quality product design and quality manufacturing concept in alignment with Project QM/ QMPP.
• Responsible to ensure Change Management with design changes. PTN / PCN (validations, etc.) including those that impact multiple locations.​
• Responsible to continuously monitors the Product Quality performance in cooperation with the customer and production locations.
• Responsible to ensure/drives problem solving activities together with the production locations, SQA, engineering and operations WW.
• Responsible to ensure and coordinate the problem-solving activities for the respective product line when several manufacturing locations are involved.​
• Responsible to develop, maintain and agree with customer the Qualification Plan.
• Responsible to approve project releases and PPAP/APQP documentation.
• Responsible to ensure/Lead Customer communication on design specific related quality topics.
• Responsible to supports locations towards customers claims and warranty issues.
• Responsible to escalate critical issues. Responsible to initiate and monitor countermeasures when  nonconformities are identified. Responsible to moderate the root cause analysis and to ensure the establishment of corrective and preventive actions.
• Responsible to report the quality status of project to relevant stakeholders, defined KPIs and status of defined measures.
• Performs and attends internal process audits / Quality Management System audits (co-auditor or lead-auditor) and supports on preparation in case of internal / external audits.
• Ensures that lessons learned are collected, documented, communicated and considered in the project(s).
• Supports piloting and roll-out of new/ updated processes in the project. Supports, trains and coach the project team on quality process topics.
• Contributes to process definition and process improvement.
• Responsible to prepare and deliver requested presentations in the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Advance Knowledge of development process and methodology;                                        
• Advance Knowledge of Quality methods and techniques (e.g. moderation, problem solving, audits);
• Advance Knowledge of Quality standards (ISO, ASPICE, IATF 16949:2016, VDA6.3) - available certifications is a plus;                                          
• Advance Knowledge of customer standards and norms related to quality;                            
• Advance Knowledge of Project Management Methodology;                                             
• Advance Knowledge of Training and presentation skills;                                           
• Advance Knowledge of English language;
