HW Discipline Project Leader

The Electrical Engineering Technical Project Leader is a key role in our organization that can influence greatly our degree of success by leading the hardware development team towards building the technical solution for one of those new innovative products.

As an Electrical Engineering Technical Project Leader, it is expected that you will be responsible for:

• Effort quotation for Electrical Engineering discipline.
• Creating and maintaining the Hardware project planning with cost, quality, risk analysis and timing throughout life of project.
• Planning of tasks and placing them in the backlog for the project team members.
• Tailoring of optional activities according to the projects needs and following the defined processes.
• Coordinating and controlling project activities and assure they are in line with the project plan, organisation of Schematic Review, Layout Reviews, Design Reviews.
• Managing problem resolution and change management process including impacts to project timing, cost, overall risks.
• Performing risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of risk measures.
• Establishing and managing technical relationships with all internal and external parties (e.g. customer, suppliers). 
• Actively managing and optimizing the use of resources on projects.
• Collaborating in the management of the requirements specifications.
• Planning and preparation of the Hardware release package.
• Contributing with input for performance evaluation of team members to line management.

Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Electronics / Electrical Engineering).
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electronic design process and quality standards.
• Full Professional Proficiency in English.
• MS Office suite – advanced user.
• Knowledge and experience in (technical) project management methods and tools.

Would be considered a plus:

• The ability to make quick decisions and to communicate them at all levels.
• Knowledge of the complete product life cycle.
• Knowledge of HW-Architecture, HW-Design, FMEA, FMEDA, Functional Safety Basics.
• Previous work experience in electrical design for automotive applications.
• The ability to work and empathize with customers.
• The ability to work within an organization to remove impediments and manage conflicts.
• Negotiation skills.
