Software Engineer for Build Systems Continuous Integration

As a member of our team you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art products for hybrid/full-electric vehicles.

As a Software Engineer for Build Systems and Continuous Integration you will be responsible to optimize the build platform, to maintain and further develop our Continuous Integration toolchain.  

• You will work with advanced DevOps technologies like AWS, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory
• You will have a direct impact in the development of electrification products
• You will have excellent colleagues in Iasi and you will be a part of an worldwide team

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain continuous build, integration, and test environment;
• Develop and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines;
• Deployment and maintenance of CI infrastructure: build agents, Jenkins servers;
• Fixing any bugs occurring in the build tool chain;
• Efficient troubleshooting of any eventual problems;
• Supporting our developers in using the Build Platform and CI system
• Providing fast response and solutions for incoming tickets;
• Monitoring systems using tools/metrics/charts to ensure a good performance and reliability of the CI infrastructure;
• Automating any recurrent tasks;
• Continuous improvement of the actual solutions and define the toolchain of the future.  
• Train worldwide users for a proper usage of tools.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field or relevant experience; 
• Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous delivery practices and tools
• Experience in C programming, build process, make files
• Advanced in scripting languages: Python/Perl/Shell or other languages
• Knowledge of SW metrics and Static code analysis
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge of config management systems: Git, GitHub, Gerrit, Artifactory
• Knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Linux; 
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong analytical skills 
• Good writing, reading and speaking English skills; 
• Eager to learn new things and to investigate for solutions

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in Embedded Software Development
• Experience in cloud solutions – AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of Autosar
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies;
