Software Engineer for PMT Standards

Description

As a Software Engineer you will be responsible to keep the business in perfect running conditions, to provide technical expertise for Change and Configuration Management tools and ensure alignment of tools usage to the standard development process.

• You will work with Change and Configuration management tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, Siemens Polarion, Artifactory.
• You will have a direct impact in the development of electrification products, in all Engineering disciplines.
• You will have excellent colleagues in Iasi and you will be a part of an worldwide team.

Your main tasks will be:

• Development and administration of tools solutions
• Deployment and maintenance of tools infrastructure e.g. servers configuration & administration;
• Maintain and improve the integration between tools and ensure traceability
• Fixing any bugs occurring in the build toolchain;
• Efficient troubleshooting of any eventual problems;
• Supporting our developers in using the tools;
• Providing fast response and solutions for incoming tickets;
• Monitoring systems using tools/metrics/charts to ensure a good performance and reliability of the tools infrastructure;
• Work proactively closely together with IT for continuous improvement of the actual solutions and define the toolchain of the future.  
• Train worldwide users for a proper usage of tools.

Job Requirements

• University degree in a relevant field or relevant experience; 
• Experience in Change / Requirements Management processes and tools e.g. Jira, Polarion, PTC Integrity, Doors;
• Experience in config management tools: Git, GitHub, Gerrit, Artifactory
• Advanced in scripting languages: Python/Perl/Shell or other languages
• Attention to detail, accuracy and strong analytical skills 
• Advanced English skills; 
• Eager to learn new things and to investigate for solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience in Jira & plugins (e.g. Big Picture, Structure etc.) administration
• Previous experience in Automotive Processes, Methods and Tools
• Knowledge of ASPICE;
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
