Global Graduate Program - Product Manager

We are actively looking for a Fresh Graduate Student to join our Global Graduates Program as a Product & Platform Manager. The goal of this Program is to develop valuable skills on a time span of 18 months schedule within 3 Assignments both Local and International.

The Program is dedicated to Students (Bachelor/Master) that are graduating during the summer of 2023 or for candidates with no more than 2 years of experience, that are looking for an entry position in a multi-cultural company. The goal of this program is to allow a junior candidate to gain knowledge regarding our internal rules and processes and ultimately to become a strong asset within the company as a Product and Platform Manager.

The program is structured in 3 phases over 18 months and will involve travelling to different Vitesco Technologies locations worldwide, so you have to be up to the challenge, and have the willing to travel outside Romania.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to the Business Unit's processes;
• Electrical Engineering Design specific tasks, i.e. schematic, layout, simulations;
• Electrical Engineering Development according automotive product life cycle process;
• Update or build electromobility/power-electronics products Business Plans;
• Update or build electromobility product development plans according automotive product life cycle process;
• Track the product development  progress, define corrective measures if deviating from the plan;
• Follow-up of series production lines and providing specific KPIs status;
• Install and perform a professional risk management program;;
• Install and perform professional change management program;
• Protect confidentiality of project data;
• Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and team work with the project;

During the complete period, a mentor will be available to help with questions or requests, ensuring you always have the proper support.

The end scope of this program is to prepare a Product Manager to drive, lead and manage a team for developing a Business Plan. The Product Manager will provide the main functional requirements next electromobility products should comply with, and build a Business case around them which documents the market potential, business revenue, market risks and needed time to market.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering fields – final year of studies, graduating in Summer 2023;
• Practical experience through Internships or Summer Practice;
• Previous experience in studying, internship or living abroad – eg. Erasmus+ and/or Work&Travel;
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken);
• Communication, teamwork & networking skills;
• Highly adaptive and proactive person;
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office 365 Package, incl. Excel, Powerpoint etc.

Additional Requirements (considered to be an advantage):

• Power electronics or electric machine control knowledge and experience;
• Experience in Product Management or Project Management within the Automotive Industry;
• German Language Skills;
• Entrepreneurship thinking;
• Out-off the box thinking
