Embedded Software Engineer for microcontroller services

As an Embedded Software Engineer in Vitesco you will have the opportunity to be part of an experienced team which develops high quality embedded software in the areas of MCAL, Services and Complex Device Drivers. As a driver developer your main tasks will be to:

• Analyze, review & contribute to specifications
• Provide estimation of the development effort
• Write the test plan corresponding to the development test
• Develop code with proper coding rules and justify any added lint/unused resources
• Perform unitary testing
• Review integration done by the SW Integrator
• Ensure change management and source configuration
• Provide support, typically in case of issue analysis & investigations
• Measurement real time performances and propose improvements/fixes
• Contribute to Safety development (L2 & L3)
• Contribute to boot, RAM SW, cryptography, security mechanisms
• Provide support on Error management

Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering)
• Knowledge of software development for embedded systems (minimum two years of expertise)
• Experience with AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, specifications, as well as configuration tools
• Knowledge of microcontrollers
• Ability to troubleshoot issues to resolution. Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Good programming skills in ANSI C
• Fluency in English

Would be considered a plus:

• AUTOSAR Architecture know-how
• Java Coding
• Knowledge of electronics
