RD Financial Controlling Specialist

General Information

The Controlling Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and strategic alignment of Research & Development (R&D) activities. This position is responsible for comprehensive financial oversight across R&D projects and cost centers, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities 

• R&D Project Controlling incl. Budget Planning, Forecast, Closing and Organization of R&D Project Steering;
• R&D Cost Center /-Line Controlling incl. Budget planning, Forecast & Closing;
• Organization and moderation of Project Approval Meetings;
• Monitoring and Controlling of all R&D financials;
• Support Project Managers and Engineering Community with commercial expertise;
• Drive and support digitalization, data engineering, process and methods refinement.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
• Strong analytical and financial planning skills;
• Experience in project controlling, preferably in an R&D environment;
• Excellent communication and moderation abilities;
• Proficiency in financial systems and data tools;
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and digital transformation.
