Main duties and responsibilities:

• Maintenance and utilisation of full suite of AWS Terraform modules
• Management and monitoring of ticket queue
• Rota cover for 24/7 service and/or on call
• Deliver build and support for customer solutions, leveraging automation and delivery mechanisms for efficiency and scalability
• Provide transition support for AWS Cloud environments
• AWS platform changes of varying complexity
• Troubleshooting issues of the varying complexity
• Drive strong customer satisfaction (NPS) through Exceptional Support
• Effective prioritisation of workload.

Required skills:

• A strong background in AWS and/or demonstrative hosting-specific technical skills:

                    o   Compute and Networking

                    o   Storage and Content Delivery

                    o   Database 

                    o   Administration and Security

                    o   Deployment and Management

                    o   Application Services

                    o   Analytics

                    o   Mobile Services

• Working knowledge of AWS Products & Services, Relational and NoSQL Databases, Caching, Object and Block Storage, Scaling, Load Balancing, CDNs, Networking etc
• Excellent working knowledge of the Linux (RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu) or Windows operating systems strong Networking skills. PowerShell / Shell scripting, experience of supporting and troubleshooting issues and performance.
• Intermediate understanding of central networking concepts: VLANs, layer2/3 routing, access lists & load balancing
• Good understanding of design of native Cloud applications, Cloud application design patterns and practices
• Working knowledge of Terraform
• Associate Cloud Architect AWS certification – Minimum

Desirable skills

• Good understanding of one or more programming languages.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and methods – Agile & Lean Development, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Automation etc.
• Knowledge of hybrid Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Cloud formation and Sceptre.
