Python Developer

Your responsibilities: 

• Taking part in every stage of the software development process, such as design, implementation, testing, code review, and documentation.
• Proactively look for methods to enhance the interactions and operations of business software.
• To create a world-class user experience for our clients, work together with product owners, designers, and other developers.
• Create, upkeep, oversee, and support our core platform, which will aid in automating and streamlining data processes.
• Create scalable, reliable code and take part in code reviews.
• Assist in mentoring and coaching the team's more youthful members.

To fit this post, we look after:

• Experience with commercial Software Development.
• Strong demonstrable experience with Python and/or Django.
• Experience developing with Cloud Services, preferably in AWS.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Database Design Principles.
• Exposure to JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Best Practices such as CI/CD, test automation, etc.
• Experience of working with Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deal thoroughly and effectively with ambiguous/uncertain problems.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A drive to work alongside other talented, passionate developers.
• Strong communication skills – Both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a STEM focused subject.
