We are looking for a NPI
Project Leader to join our team:
Purpose Statement: The role of the NPI Project Leader is to
support program managers for NPI projects by tracking projects KPI`s, schedule
meetings, coordinate project work, provide status updates and monitor NPI
builds until they are handed to volume production.
An NPI Project Leader
has a high degree of knowledge and understanding of one or more critical
manufacturing processes.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Works in tandem
with Transition Managers (if assigned) and Program Managers on: schedule
customer commits and prepare the NPI Projects for introduction to the
site.
- Coordinating the
relevant functions to setup the product for series production at the
expected quality, productivity and cost levels (quote reference).
- Ensure NPI
compliance with PPQP requirements (Plexus Product Quality Planning).
- Follow-up the
NPI build issues until they are solved before handover to Volume
Manufacturing.
- Schedule the
build execution on the planned Production Line / Equipment and monitor new
product introduction builds to drive improvements.
- Tracking and
communicating project risks and opportunities.
- Ensuring
deadlines are met using escalation process when required.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Designing and
controlling the project schedule.
- Organizing
project team meetings and recording minutes.
- Supervise
current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Update project
timeline when significant deviations/modifications occurs which impacts
the initial delivery plan
- Provide
guidance, feedback, and encouragement for achieving goals.
- Perform handover
of NPIs to manufacturing.
- Acknowledges and
complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
standards provided in the procedures and instructions that are specific to
each field, documentation that underlies the proper functioning of the
integrated management system of quality, environment, safety and
occupational health.
- Other additional
activities will be given by supervisor.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in
Engineering or higher is preferred.
- Three (3) years
of related experience is required; Three (3) or more years of related
experience is preferred.
An equivalent
combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key
job accountabilities may be considered.
