QA Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Evaluate the quality of web applications
• Functional and nonfunctional testing
• Analyze requirements and identify testing needs
• Plan, estimate and execute testing activities
• Document testing (test cases, test scenarios) and prepare test reports
• Work with developing teams and designers
• Report problems and failures
• Establish and implement best QA practices

Key Strengths:

• at least 3 years of experience in web application testing (mid or senior level)
• Web development testing experience
• Good knowledge of QA and software testing
• Knowledge about the processes of software development
• Attention to details, team oriented, analytical thinking
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work closely with other teams 
• Understand the Agile Development methodology and its supporting tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally)
• Ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies

Would be a plus:

• Basic Object Oriented Programming understanding
• Web automation skills and tools - Testng, Junit, Maven
• Performance testing skills and experience (Jmeter, Load Runner, etc)
• Database testing experience
• Experience in mobile applications testing
• Experience with continuous integration – Jenkins preferred
