Role Purpose:
To develop and deploy UIPath based automation scripts to
automate processes within the finance function, it is also to work with
the ELIS AI engine provided by Rossum to create integrated approach flows.
What will you do
To work with finance functional leads in the transaction
processing teams to automate existing manual processes (feasible and cost-effective).
In scope will be:
- Locating
files in a folder structure and placing them in the client’s document
management system – driver: high volume and file names and destinations
are formulaic (if this work cannot be done using EDG 3.0)
- Master table
data editing – which requires taking data from a formatted &
structured word template and transferring data into the mapped field in our
ERP – driver: high volume, 121 relationship between form and field and
data is highly structured (processing the 3e MMF directly into Enterprise)
- Master table
data insert – which is similar to 2. but requires the creation rather than
the edit of the same record – driver: as 2. (processing the 3e CMOF
directly into Enterprise)
- Mass matter
data insert – which is similar to 2. & 3. – except this data is
presented in a highly structured spreadsheet and results in up to 1000
sequential inserts – driver as 3. (To load IP bulk matters on opening)
- 3rd
part data imports into ERP – we have multiple formatted spreadsheets that
are imported into our ERP via a front end processor – these generate
exceptions (failed inserts) and hence the driver: to implement a well-understood
process that requires attended processing (for Chrome River, HM Land
Registry, Registers Scotland)
- Automated
approval of expense claims – is currently a manual process to access a
web application, extract a schedule of data and based on the extract –
edit records setting status to “approved” – driver: to test the
ability to drive a web-delivered application, accessed via a browser
session (Chrome River)
- Support,
modify and maintain all workflows transferred to CMS CMNO LLP by its
third-party service provider
- Integrate
ELIS with UIPath to process third party invoices as hard costs or business
services overheads – initially processing Foreign Agent’s invoices/fee
notes for the IP practice and then extending the ELIS processing to cover
all billable disbursements and business services overheads. The process should integrate Rossum image analytics with Enterprise 3e workflows
with execution/committal by UIPath “bots.”
Thereafter – to work with the firm’s IT and
Innovation function to:
- Extend the
use of UIPath into fee-earning activities and deploy such technologies as
are required to manage a large scale RPA deployment (including mixed
workforce Orchestration)
- Develop/build a team of employees capable of developing and deploying RPA process flows
to ensure no single point of failure are created
- Work with
and assist the certification/accreditation of the team
- Deploy a
supported UIPath infrastructure within Integreon’s system landscape that
is capable of supporting multiple clients
- Ensure any
process flows automated in the Enterprise environment are migrated to the
new ERP (Enterprise 3e)
- Grow the use
of digital agents across the wider organisation
