What a Global Commodity Buyer Services does:

• Global purchasing activities for the Services Commodity
• Analyze and consolidate global demands in the Services Commodity
• Creation, follow-up and evaluation of national and global tenders in coordination with the responsible departments, locations and project teams
• Processing of Negotiations and Nomination (value based)
• Final Negotiations of national and global contracts
• Permanent development of savings potentials and procurement strategies
• Preparation of future supplier structure - market researches, supplier qualification, feasibility studies
• Escalation management: supporting global locations for procurement issues

The next Global Commodity Buyer Services needs:

• University degree in Economics or Technical field
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Purchasing (automotive industry preferred)
• Experience in dealing with suppliers
• Analytical approach, strategic behavior and affinity for figures and correlations
• Good communication skills and assertiveness in negotiations
• Very good English language command, German is a plus
• International mindset and the ability to work in a matrix organization
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ERP systems
