Mechanical Service Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Service Technician

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree Qualified within a Mechanical Engineering discipline 
• Proficient in the English language with the ability to understand and communicate in technical English. 
• Ability to know or learn how to read and understand P&ID’s, Manuals, and Drawings. 
• General knowledge of how mechanical equipment operates and willingness to learn specific equipment internals.
• Ability to be self-motivated and perform high quality work while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
• Ability to work weekends and holiday, when so required.

PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform inspection and commissioning of mechanical equipment (internal combustion engines, compressors, and other equipment) utilizing specified checklists.
• Work closely and clearly communicates with the other departments, mechanical personnel, Supervisor and Lead.
• Basic computer skills such as: opening, creating, and updating content in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors on industrial mechanical equipment.
• Performs internal (on the territory of the country) and external (abroad) trips in the interest of work, in order to verify, identify and remedy the malfunctions of the equipment (service), sold by the company to internal or external partners;
• Performs any other specific tasks, activities and duties assigned by the executive management in connection with the activity it carries out
