Based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of project specific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and system integration solutions (LIMS or ERP) for clients, primarily in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, to enhance cutting-edge process automation solutions meeting customer requirements. This role includes working towards Syncade certification in all current and relevant modules.
The job implies Working from Home flexibility.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Work with MES Engineers and Senior Engineers on up to medium complexity project tasks.
- Be responsible and work in a team for low and medium-complexity project tasks guiding MES Junior Engineers.
- Present prototypes to develop and demonstrate special project features.
- Participate in customer interfacing activities (FAT, SAT, go live).
- Work effectively at different levels with clients and sales teams to support defining business needs and demonstrate our product and service capabilities.
- Support and be responsible, as part of a team, for selected areas of the overall solution architecture assigned to define scope, sizing, system / operational requirements, integration requirements, etc.
- Support project estimations and ensure applying the execution methodology.
- Assis in developing detailed designs, implementing and testing complex MES (Syncade) solutions using both custom-developed software applications and configured products that meet the customer’s requirement.
- Create technical documentation required for validated facilities.
- Assis customers with solving application problems and installing software upgrades as well as patches for MES systems.
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- University Degree in Computer Science or Process Automation Engineering – preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience in a related processes industry such as Biotech/Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food, and Beverage.
- 1 year in MES project execution (MES, IT, Chemical, Life Science industry).
- Project Execution Experience (requirements analysis, design definition, software development, solutions implementation)
- Experience in process automation solutions is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server is a plus.
- Experience with DCS, information/data management systems, EPR, software development, interfaces, networking, and virtualization is a plus.
- Communication skills, and confidence in customer interactions.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel as required.
