Vendor Management Analyst

We are seeking a creative, innovative, and tech-savvy individual to be one of the key resources for the VMO Lead by providing support, research and financial analysis services. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Help manage the relationship between Emerson, its divisions, and key third-party vendors to ensure that the proper support and attention are given to the Emerson account;
• Understand, apply, and properly communicate to key vendors and Emerson entities, terms, conditions and pricing the VMO management has negotiated with key third-party vendors;
• Obtain quotes from the vendors in the agreed SLAs, make sure the quotes met Emerson requirements and that the prices are aligned to the VMO negotiated discounts;
• Keep a close relationship with the major vendors and make sure the VMO team always has the updated Pricebook and lead time from the vendors;
• Coordinate signing of leasing documents under appropriate delegation of authority for the VMO ongoing projects;
• Keep up to date with the tools used daily and prepare required regulatory reports;
• Assist Emerson entities with inquiries related to global or local vendors as overdue invoices or local vendors issues acting as the escalation point for the Emerson entities and for the vendors;
• Liaise between Emerson divisions and key vendors on strategic initiatives;
• Provide support to global procurement processes and activities;

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• 1-2 years of work experience in the information technology, strategic sourcing, finance or asset management field;
• Solid experience in customer support/customer relations activities with good verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced analytical skills and knowledge of Excel and other tools that facilitate large volumes of data (Excel, SQL, Access);
• Advanced level of English language, verbal and written;
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management within the organization.
