ERP Solutions Analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring existing EDI processes in Sterling Integrator and the VAN, ensuring that transactions flow into/out of JD Edwards properly, lead and offering technical support during and after the implementation of new EDI projects. You will support the business in diagnosing and resolving problems related to JD Edwards and participate in global ERP implementations and projects.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Be responsible for EDI Configurations and Partner EDI setups, programming, testing, implementing, and maintaining a broad range of EDI Transactions and standards to support our BUs and External Partners.
• Respond to user issues in a timely manner to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Attend meetings with other IT analysts to gather requirements for new EDI Implementations or modifications to existing ones.
• Conduct end-user testing upon completion of implementation.
• Collaborate with other IT functional teams to implement EDI processes for end customers.
• Provides an advanced level of support for all used JD Edwards modules (Finance, Distribution, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Planning).
• Participates in ERP projects and implementations by working together with other IT teams and multiple client groups supporting discovery, implementation, user testing, support, upgrade, and improvement phase of the projects.
• Leads complex tasks related to JD Edwards and EDI development using ERP-specific tools, enabling JD Edwards functionality or process changes using advanced tools like JDE OMW, JDE event rules programming, JDE UDOs, Oracle support, ETL tools.
• Note that this position will require support occasionally during the morning operation of the North America team from the hours of 8 am to 11 am CST US time (4 pm to 7 pm local Cluj time).

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and their common Transactions.
• Experience with B2B Sterling integrator and other EDI tools.
• Proficient in Basic EDI Transactions Functional Aspects.
• Knowledge/experience with Multiple Channels and Protocols of EDI Transactions distribution.
• Experience in ERP systems such as JD Edwards (preferred), Oracle EBS or SAP.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and general database concepts.
• Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to learn other analytics tools.
• AS2 and SFTP configuration and management.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
