Main responsibilities:
- Participates in the implementation of the LEAN strategy and tactical actions for Ecolor's development
- Promotes understanding of losses and costs involved at all levels of the organization
- Improves productivity by reducing losses and improving processes
- Improves quality by identifying and eliminating process variations
- Provides technical support on all aspects of safety and ergonomics in various areas of production
- Coordinates RCPS (root cause problem solving) projects, implement corrective actions and monitors their sustainability
- Collaborates with shift managers, production engineers, quality technicians, and the Supply Chain department to meet customer requirements
- Use LEAN, Six Sigma, A3, and other troubleshooting tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinates continuous improvement teams in order to reduce losses
Suitable candidate profile:
- Higher education in the technical or economic field
- Strong analytical skills, collection, review, and interpretation of statistical data for decision making
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Experience in using Lean Manufacturing tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S)
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions
- Good skills for setting priorities and organizing in order to meet deadlines
- Project management skills, creation, and motivation of the project team
- Result oriented
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Leadership skills: a reliable, fair, honest, flexible, energetic person
- Intermediate-advanced knowledge of English

About us:
We are a furniture factory located in Juc-Herghelie, Cluj County. The mother company of Ecolor is Gyllensvaans Möbler from Sweden, a furniture manufacturer since 1946, and an IKEA supplier since 1952. Since the establishment of Ecolor in Romania in 2005, until today, the factory's activity and the team have grown steadily.
