Process Technologist for Italy

Danieli is looking for a Technologist that will be in charge of the development of machines and systems for Continuos Casting Area. 

 Location: Buttrio (Italy)

Responsibilities

• To Define Main Caster Process Parameters

• To Use & Improve Metallurgical Models For Caster Sizing

 • To Define Caster Performance Parameters

 • To Cooperate With Sales Office During Offer Phase

• To Cooperate With Technical Office During Execution Phase 

• To Take Part At Plant Commissioning During Performance Phases To Get Caster Acceptance

 • To Take Part To Field Measurement For Continuous Process/Equipment Improvements

• Participate in customer operator training

• Carries out field surveys for the continuous improvement of processes/finished product quality

 Stakeholders:

Internal: Technical Office, Mac, Project management of other product lines

External: Customers and Suppliers

 Requirements:

• Knowledge of the  metallurgical process  for Continuous Casting (preferably On Slab Caster): Level A

• Caster Equipment Knowledge: Level B

• Metallurgical Process Up Stream Continuous Caster: Level B.

•  Metallurgical Process Down Stream Continuous Caster: Level C.

• Steel Grades: Level B.

• Refractory Material: Level C.

• Fluency in English (written/spoken)

• Logical-deductive thinking and inductive-intuitive skills

• Orientation to concrete results

• Availability for short/medium-term travel abroad including construction site activities
