• The Global Category Buyer Industrial Cleaning is responsible for the development and implementation of the global category strategy for the assigned Service Group and its subcategories for all Automotive divisions and affiliated companies.
• The global category management creates and sustains value for all Business Units in terms of commercial, logistical and even technical enhancements, for example sustainable total cost reduction, support quality initiatives for internal customers, prolongation of payment terms, warranty and liability optimization, ensuring the availability of materials and services, data transparency and process improvements as well as strengthening of relationship to strategic Business Partners (internally and externally).
• Identification, development and promotion of Global and Regional Strategic Suppliers.
• Defining the principles, processes and tools for establishing the governance structure and managing ongoing operations during the lifecycle of supplier interactions.
• Management and development the number of favorable Price and Framework Agreements in legal, logistical, commercial and partly even technical terms (for example Requirement Books, Specifications, Standards) in close alignment with stakeholders and steering the implementation.
• Management, coordination and supervision of global and regional projects in the areas of responsibility, in collaboration with the respective stakeholders
• Implementation and tracking relevant KPI's for responsible category according the Global Target & KPI settings.
• Ensuring Compliance with Policies and Procedure implemented by the Company.
