Junior Cost Engineer

Blue Projects is currently looking to enlarge its teams based in Bucharest with an enthusiast Cost Engineer passionate about the construction field and strongly oriented to the technical field.

Requirements:

• Up to 5 years of experience in industrial/building projects
• University degree, preferably Economic or Engineering
• Outstanding Excel skills
• Proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of project management software: MS Project, Primavera is considered an advantage
• Available for travel & relocation for duration of projects
• Excellent fluency in English

Responsibilities:

• Estimating the budget required for the project and creating various cost centers to document and monitor expenses
• Creating cash flow analysis
• Collecting periodic updates and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly updates and reports of the project
• Participating in project meetings and discussions with the client as required
• Creating project closing reports
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
• Drafting specific documentation (contracts, certificates, statements, proxies) and gathering data for price offers and quotations
• Drafting regular reports for the Country Manager
• Observing the budget, in accordance with the business plan
• Preparing the required information for the project reporting to Client
• Daily updating the internal platform
