Tender Manager Logistics

Your Key Responsibilities

• Organization and implementation of a national and international tender management for warehousing, inbound and outbound logistics
• Development and implementation of a logistics supplier management system
• Definition and analysis of relevant SLAs / KPIs in close cooperation with the operational areas
• Contract negotiations and monitoring of agreed SLAs / KPIs.
• Conducting regular supplier audits and discussions to ensure high quality standards
• Identifying potentials to increase our delivery performance and to reduce logistics costs
• Collaborating with our logistics controlling department, e.g. on the introduction of new billing models at our logistics service providers
• Support of implementation projects
• Business and sparring partner for management and division heads

Your Profile

• Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of working experience in logistics tender management (B2B, e-commerce, SCM, preferably also Refa procedures)
• Experience in project management and confidence in using MS-Office products (esp. Excel and Power Point)
• Knowledge of pricing and billing structures of freight of different modes of transport is a plus
• Deep methodological and analytical understanding
• Assertiveness and strong communication skills, also in an international environment
• Collaboration in logistics projects to reduce TCO, including scenario-based development of logistics concepts (e.g. center of gravity, hub and spoke)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and German
• Willingness to travel, as the role may require occasional travel
