YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or a comparable course of study
• Sound knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ and Python
• Java and Kotlin knowledge is an advantage
• Professional experience in software development for Linux and Android
• Knowledge of kernel programming and driver development is an advantage
• Independent and structured way of working, problem-solving thinking and acting as well as high quality awareness
• Competent and communicative appearance with a distinct team spirit
• Confident communication English is required
• German language knowledge is an advantage

Job description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Software development and design of architectures for embedded multicore systems according to automotive standards with focus on Linux and Android (applications, drivers, kernel)
• Implementation of future-oriented functions and applications in the key areas of UI/UX, driver assistance and autonomous driving
• Adaptation of the operating system architecture and software applications to the various automotive embedded systems
• Analysis and optimization of software performance on various system platforms
• Code review and implementation of improvements from code analysis
• Close cooperation with our development team and relevant partners of the customer with a high level of personal responsibility, e.g. in the coordination of system and software requirements
• Support for the integration of the control unit into the vehicle
