Role description:

You will join our Arcadis Resilience team in Iasi office. In Resilience, we are focusing to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generation. As a project assistant you will works alongside  project managers to effectively guide the teams to achieve product/service goals and project objectives.

Role accountabilities:

  • Ensure smooth communication between all relevant parties;
  • Planning of personnel structures;
  • Support with the preparation of project plans, reports and reviews;
  • Internal and external communication;
  • Preparation and follow-up of meetings and presentations;
  • Acting as stand-in for the project manager;
  • General organizational tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics, Engineering, Social sciences or international relations;
  • Good communication, analytical skills and team spirit;
  • A structured way of working and organisational talent;
  • A high level of personal responsibility and self-discipline;
  • Experienced user of IT including use of Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, MS Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Ability to solve problems, using information from a variety of sources to aid analysis and make timely decisions;
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks in parallel and sharing knowledge appropriately;
  • Strong English language skills. French as a second language is a big plus.

Nice to have:

  • Working background in corporate projects as project assistant or team assistant.

  • Interpersonal skills (teamwork, supportive attitude, eager to learn, proactivity);
  • Able to coordinate workers and facilitate team communication;
  • Highly organized in both time and in resources; need to manage progress reports, timetables, and financial budgets;
  • Have a thorough understanding of project objectives and goals, ensuring all team members have the resources needed;
  • Have an analytical and critical mindset for making the best business and financial decisions for the project;
  • Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines;
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others.
