Credit Risk Analyst, EMEA- SSC

A Lead Credit Analyst supports the financial goals of the company, specifically through mitigating and managing the risk associated with extending credit to new and existing customers by following the departmental Standard Operating Procedures with ethical practices and attention to detail. This includes keeping Management informed about emerging problems with regard to credit viability of Customers, buying Groups and Distributors. In performing the role, the Lead Credit Analyst supports the company's Core Values and Exemplifies our Culture. In addition, the Lead Credit Analyst will consistently demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, possess strong organizational skills, provide exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers, and be a complete team player. Results/Success Metrics oriented.


You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or in a Mathematical discipline;

• 6 years of experience in Business to Business credit risk analysis OR if Master’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or in a Mathematical discipline, 4 years of Business to Business credit risk analysis;

• Advance experience with D&B, CRM, Experian and any other credit agencies;

• Experience in GetPaid;

• Experience with JDE, MacPac, SAP helpful, not needed.

• Advanced business acumen and attention to detail and accuracy;

• Advanced research, investigation skills and good judgement skills;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role;

• Create and develop weighted model scorecards including D&B and other credit agencies information;

• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled;

• Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities;

• Apply expert programming and analytical techniques to analyze credit data;

• Apply advanced knowledge of the business, its products, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and tailor credit strategies to the needs of the business;

• Synthesize analyses, identify root causes, and develop clear and concise recommendations to drive credit risk strategies to influence senior decision makers;

• Recognize opportunities to improve credit risk strategies and builds support for recommendations;

• Guide team members in the development and delivery of their work products;

• Independently execute existing and develop new portfolio reporting to monitor credit strategy and escalate the quality and direction of credit performance to appropriate levels of management;

• Assemble key participants and guides and facilitate teams in the development and implementation of key initiatives;

• Conduct detailed analysis, utilizing analytical and financial modeling and statistical techniques to predict and evaluate the credit risk within an existing portfolio according to operational risk and compliance standards;

• Perform complex, multi-factor credit risk assessments and recognize appropriate credit risk strategies to be developed and implemented.
