Qualifications for Customer Quality Engineer:
Technical university degree/Engineering Degree
Experience in automotive industry
Experience in quality procedures and problem solving tools (8D, 5why, FTA)
Good PC skills
Professional proficiency of English level; solid advantage knowledge of French or GermanIATF 16949 and VDA knowledge

We are hiring for our client 2 positions: Supplier Quality Engineer and Customer Quality Engineer
Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Leads SCA supporting multidisciplinary team, coordinates SLSP and implements them.
Helps suppliers to understand the Supplier Requirements Manual (SRM) and supports a pre-dating meeting, facilitates technical revisions and helps assimilate qualitative requirements.
Instructs selected suppliers to meet customer quality requirements.
Supports Products PDP Proiects Management - focuses on new project issues, supports suppliers to minimize the risk of launching new projects, is at BOM up to 90 days SOP, ensuring that suppliers understand the SRM, APQP, PPAP and the preload control.
For critical suppliers, emphasize supporting APQP activities before serial production.
Coordinates with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) vendors, performing revisions and, if necessary, providing training.
Performs part and process audits and tracks the action plan, when it comes to capacity analysis.
Maintain the production line interface and other departments to be sure that the quality objectives are reached by the suppliers' , providing support for local procurement in order to develop a serious network of suppliers.
Knowing customer requirements, coordinating suppliers, supporting the project manager before launching, identifying opportunities to improve suppliers, evading losses and variations, improving quality, building relationship with suppliers.
Customer Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Manage customer quality issues in the designated area and ensure they are resolved in an efficient & timely manner.
Work with other departments to establish root cause & appropriate short/long term corrective actions.
Drive & follow up continuous improvement programs across areas of responsibility.
Provide guidelines or work instructions to sorting team of suspect goods.
Generate or complete 8D reports according to customer deadlines and expectations.
Effectively communicate progress on all assigned customer quality issues with internal & external customers.
Provide recommendations or work around solutions to customers to keep their production line running in the face of a quality issue.
Support customer audit or visit at local manufacturing site.
Participate in analysis and problem solving related to field issues (warranty)
Visit customer sites to assist field support personnel or with Sales as needed.
Maintain liaison with external residents, where available
