Senior Program Manager (Iasi)

Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is part of the Product Assurance, Risk and Security (PARS) organization within Amazon. C-Ops ensures that every product and service provided by Amazon Consumer division meets the PARS compliance and safety policy requirements. We are currently looking for a motivated and data driven Senior Program Manager with strong technical skills and communication capabilities and a roll-up the sleeves mentality. This role will act as an interface between technology, quality assurance, training, operations and external stakeholder’s functions and will design and implement programs that will improve the operational efficiency of Compliance Operations teams in the EMEA region. They will deep dive into the existing Compliance Operations processes and identify strategic opportunities to improve efficiency and eliminate defects at the root. The role requires strong business judgement, analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication and the ability to influence without authority.
The successful candidate will create, develop and drive solutions that transforms C-Ops into a regulatory intelligence actualization unit which ensures global on-demand policy enforcement at scale, with zero defects and optimal cost in order to protect Amazon’s customers, associates, partners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
· Drives the vision, strategy and execution for process optimization across EMEA Compliance Operations programs.
· Be a thought leader, leading innovation and driving the establishment of processes for continuous improvements.
· Analyzing and solving business problems with focus on understanding data deviations, their root causes, and driving forward-looking opportunities.
· Communicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
· Establish process management and governance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years experience in a relevant field
· Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
· Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
· Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
· Outstanding analytical skills, experience in planning and forecasting.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills - decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate and inspire others.
· Experience in influencing stakeholders at executive level, and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams to deliver results
· First-class written and verbal communication skills in English
· Action and results oriented mentality and ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
· University degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master degree preferred
· Supply chain or Risk management experience preferred
· Proven influencing abilities and experience in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
· Experience leveraging stakeholder insights to drive product/service decisions
· Technical background preffered
