Night Shift Dispatcher

Company: Our client is looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for brokers and truck drivers. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in a fast paced environment. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. The role focus is to provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs and promote company sales. Responsibilities:

• Schedule workforce (drivers) on a daily basis with the intention of maximizing service and minimizing costs;
• Manage drivers and monitor efficiencies throughout day.
• Manage incoming internal and external customer phone calls, exercising judgment within specification of standard practices.
• Review next day orders to ensure are correctly mapped, have accurate travel times, address and delivery instructions.

·         Managing broker and carrier relationships

·         Achieve loading indicators and continually improve performance

• Monitoring inbound paperwork
• May direct the work of less senior Dispatchers
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

·         Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic experience using computers.

·         Experience using dispatch and trucking software preferred.

·         Excellent oral (telephone) communication skills.

·         Bilingual (English/Russian, English/Romanian communications skills

·         Ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers.

·         Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

·         Able to prioritize work; strong organization skills.

·         Ability to keep calm in stressful situations

·         Work night shift hours from 15.00 to 1.00 local time (7 AM - 5 PM US time);
