SAP ABAP developer with German

We are looking for a self-motivated SAP/ABAP developer that wants to be part of a professional team here in Cluj Napoca or Sibiu. Our partner, a very important player on the German retail market, with probably the biggest SAP system landscape in Europe, is looking to expand its current IT expertise in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of business processes demands and formulating of IT solutions
• Design and implementation of new applications and functionalities based on direct communication with the business analysts, product manager and customers
• As member of a SCRUM Team you will responsible with the elaboration of development concepts and models of software architecture, coding, testing and documentation
• Support of quality assurance during follow-up and user tests • Support of the project team in the use of the developed solutions
• Compliance with development and quality assurance guidelines • Supporting the implemented applications from development phase to production and occasionally need to travel on client site (Germany) to participate in the necessary meeting
• Act as a trusted adviser to the product managers and customer on technical matters

Your profile required skills

• ABAP programming (ABAP Objects, ABAP/4)
• User Exits / Customer Exits / Business Add-Ins enhancement techniques
• BAPI / batch-input / IDoc data transfer & programming techniques
• ABAP Web Dynpro
• Functional Knowledge in at least one of the SAP ERP modules (for instance SD, MM, FI) or Industry Solutions (for instance IS-Retail, IS-Automotive, IS-Insurance)

Good to have skills

• Cloud Integration, Gateway
• ABAP on HANA, HANA Cloud Platform, UI5/Fiori, JAVA
• SAPScript & SmartForms, Adobe Interactive Forms printing technologies
• Flooplan Manager, BOPF
• • UML, Design Patterns Education and Qualification
• University degree, preferably in engineering or economic science (bachelor in engineering / economic science, or master degree in computer applications, business administration, or science).
• Experience in software projects: evaluating functional specifications, preparation of technical specifications, coding reviews, unit testing, and technical issues resolution.
• Exposure to project management or project management methodologies is a plus
