SAP Basis specialist

We are looking for a self-motivated SAP Basis specialist that wants to be part of a professional team here in Romania. Our partner, a very important player on the German retail market, with probably the biggest SAP system landscape in Europe, is looking to expand its current IT expertise in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of SAP release changes
• Installing new SAP Systems (ABAP and JAVA) on premise
• System copies (ABAP and JAVA) JAVA) homogeneous and heterogeneous
• Operational support as well 3rd level support (all SAP releases of ERP 6 incl. JAVA stack, Retail, BW, F&R, Portal, PI, SCM, HANA CAR etc.)
• Carrying out performance analyzes and deriving optimization measures
• Provide technological advice to customers, product managers and IT architects
• Possible Project management activities

Your profile

Required skills

• Several years of professional experience in the field of SAP Basis Operation (installation, administration, support and technical monitoring)
• Good knowledge of SAP Basis (ABAP and JAVA stack), T-Rex and BO components, Oracle databases and Linux operating systems
• First experience in the operation and installation of HANA systems (also S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA) Good to have Skills:
• First experiences in the operation of cloud systems
• SAP ABAP programming knowledge
• JAVA programming knowledge Education and Qualification
• University degree, preferably in engineering or economic science (bachelor in engineering / economic science, or master degree in computer applications, business administration, or science).
• Working experience with complex system landscapes
• Exposure to project management or project management methodologies is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and a higher sense of responsibility
• Willingness to change, confident personality, self-initiative

Foreign languages

• Fluent in German
