Java software engineer

We are looking for a self-motivated Java software engineer that wants to be part of a professional team here in Romania. Our partner, a very important player on the German retail market, with probably the biggest SAP system landscape in Europe, is looking to expand its current IT expertise in Romania.

 Your role

 Be part of a Scrum team

• Expansion of interfaces in Java based microservices
• New functionalities
• Design the software architecture
• Improving quality of code

Required skills              

•  Experience in scalable and highly available e-commerce platforms
•  Experience designing RESTful APIs and interfacing with external interfaces
•  Familiar with JVM-based technologies like Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, Gradle, Kotlin
•  Familiar with Distributed systems and message queues (such as Apache Kafka)
•  Developing a cloud infrastructure (AWS)
•  Experience with BPMN / BPMN frameworks (like Camunda, Zeebe)
•  Experience with functional programming and domain driven design

Nice to have

• Read and appreciate Fowler and Uncle Bob
• Modern design and architectural patterns
• DevOps and Continuous Delivery

Foreign Languages

• Fluent in German or English
