Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements

Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field;
Ideally 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Extensive experience with SolidWorks (advanced, widely used 70%), CorelDraw (medium)and AutoCad (medium)
Ability to work independently, with little direction or assistance;

Highly detail-oriented
Analytical skills, creative and a hands-on experience;
Team player and open-mind;
English- intermediate level minimum.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Design measurement and control instruments for industry; 3D simulation of assembly, components, sensors.
• Plastic parts design for injection;
• Plastic and metallic parts design for machining;
• Design gaskets parts;
• Design of sheet metal parts;
• Materials selection;
• Prototypes construction: Printing items on 3D machine, machined low complexity components, build the assembly.
• Printed circuits boards (PCB): Layout design, simulation of components;
• Custom Liquid-crystal display (LCD): Design, final documentation.
• Create 3D assemblies.
• Marking artwork design; (ink, laser).
• Prepare technical documentation;
• Quote of various components such as: plastics, metallic, molds, devices, LCDs.
• Documentation editing support for work procedures and user manuals;
• Packing: Design, technical drawings, tools design.
• Prepare the bill of materials (BOM);
• Analyze and solve product design issues;
• Testing and validate the items, sub-assemblies, products.
• Tools: Design, technical drawings, units’ construction.
