Test Engineer for Car Infotainment (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Execution of manual tests on physical infotainment test benches and in test cars
• Testing one or several of the following domains: tuner, media, car, phone, connectivity, navigation, apps, online services, car,  settings and climate settings
• Preparation of test environments including flashing of software on the main unit, connecting physical modules and activation of software features and others
• Reporting of bugs and writing test reports
• Create test cases for a specific domain
• Extracting and interpretation of log information
• Working in an international environment that involes travelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology or an equivalent education
• Several years of work experience in manual and/or automated testing, especially in automotive software testing or car infotainment/navigation systems
• Experience in testing embedded devices as smartphones, tablets, media players is a plus
• Working knowledge of quality assurance specific concepts
• Previous experience with issue tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla and others is considered a plus
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency in English and German language is considered a plus
• Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
